Communities are filled with residents and organizations willing and able to improve the quality of life for all where they live, work, and play. LikeMinded is a platform that harnesses the time, talent, and treasure of local residents and organizations for the good of the whole community.

Leveraging the power of collaboration and technology, LikeMinded is building a common civic infrastructure that makes it simple and easy for people to meet and engage locally, initiate and collaborate on projects together, crowd task and crowd fund projects, track progress and impact, and take action that benefits the public good. The goal of the platform over time is to be well-rounded and host many types of local community improvement projects and innovations – allowing residents to readily act and invest in their home locales across America.

While there are many challenges facing communities today, among the most significant and far-reaching is education. What are communities doing to involve all residents and organization leaders in improving their community’s climate for learning and discovery, Pre-K and K-12 formal education, and informal education of all types including after school programs. To address this challenge, LikeMinded’s initial focus is on showcasing innovations, individuals, and institutions coming together in their locales to improve the education and development of their children and youth.
